Fox's Family Guy panel at San Diego Comic-Con revealed the trailer for the ultimate crossover episode that fans have been craving. On Family Guy's September 28th season premiere, entitled "The Simpsons Guy," the animated worlds of The Griffins and The Simpsons collide. Peter and crew end up in Springfield, and Homer welcomes the new "albino" visitors.
At first, the families get along famously: Stewie (MacFarlane) becomes obsessed with Bart (guest voice Nancy Cartwright) and his old-fashioned pranks. Lisa (guest voice Yeardley Smith) takes Meg (Mila Kunis) under her wing and is determined to find something at which she excels. Marge (guest voice Julie Kavner) and Lois (Alex Borstein) ditch housework for a little bonding. Then... Peter and Homer get into a brouhaha over a brew (haha). And count on there being tons of inside jokes. Look out for a Bob's Burgers and Cleveland Show reference in the trailer below!
Family Guy is entering its (lucky) 13th season with the September 28th premiere. The Simpsons is the longest-running scripted show in television history, currently in its 25th season.
