Back in April, Willie Nelson got quite the 80th birthday present from Jack White, who hosted a special tribute concert for the country legend at the Third Man Records headquarters in Nashville. The show was filmed as part of CMT's Crossroads show, which you can watch in full abov
One of the best moments of the show comes at the 13-minute mark, with Willie and Jack dueting backstage on an acoustic version of "Red Headed Stranger." Willie tells Jack to start singing it, but White demurs, taking over lead vocals a few minutes into the song. After, Willie explains that he didn't write the classic song, much to White's surprise.
Take a gander at the full episode above, which also features Neil Young (warning: this spin through "Long May You Run" might induce some tears), Sheryl Crow, Norah Jones, Leon Russell and more. (via)
