300: Rise Of An Empire Trailer

June 14, 2013

Loosely based on the graphic novel "Xerxes" by Frank Miller, the new film 300: The Rise of an Empire takes place before, during, and after 2006's film, 300

The new film tells the story of the Greek general Themistokles (Sullivan Stapleton) as he battles Persian forces led by the god-king Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro)  and the commander Artemisia (Eva Green), who gives the movie a female presence lacking in the first film (unless you count Lena Headey who played the Spartan Queen, Gorgo, and reprises her role here).

300: The Rise of an Empire hits theaters March 7th, 2014, starring Sullivan Stapleton, Rodrigo Santoro, Eva Green, and Lena Headey.
