The Sex Pistols Reunite, Play Riot Fest 2013 (Maybe)

Chicago's best festival; Riot Fest announced its 2013 lineup and from what we see here, it looks like Fall Out Boy, Blink-182 and a mystery band are headlining the three-day long day festival in September. So who might this mystery band be? Well, after doing a little digging and putting together a few clues, we believe that THE SEX PISTOLS will fill that mystery slot and headline Riot Fest. So, you heard it hear first… The Sex Pistols are probably most defiantly playing Riot Fest 2013.

I mean they already had us at the Lillingtons reunion, but throw in Rocket From the Crypt, FLAG, Against Me!, Motorhead, Bob Mould, Mission of Burma, Peter Hook, AND The Sex Pistols... well hot damn, you can take all of our money right now. What a great lineup.

Riot Fest is so much fun. If you've never been, i highly recommend going. I had the pleasure of being there last year and it was one of the best festivals I'd ever been to. The crowd at Riot Fest was great, the lineup was killer and everything about the layout and the amenities was great. Five stars across the board for Riot Fest. That and the weather was perfect.

I had already planned on going back for this years show, but now that we know the the full lineup for 2013 - it's just too insane to pass up. Also scheduled to perform this year are Rancid, Guided By Voices, Peter Hook, Blondie, Public Enemy, the Dismemberment Plan, AFI, the Selecter, Bad Religion, Quicksand, Dinosaur Jr., Bad Brains, Glassjaw, Sublime with Rome, Violent Femmes, Taking Back Sunday, Screeching Weasel, X, Gwar, Smoking Popes, Stars, Toots and the Maytals, Atmosphere, Best Coast, the Lawrence Arms, Brand New, Surfer Blood, the Dear Hunter, Say Anything, Pennywise, Dessa, Saul Williams, Chuck Ragan, Bad Books, All Time Low, Pierce the Veil, Devotchka, Yellowcard, the Broadways, the Devil Wears Prada, Reggie and the Full Effect, Attack Attack!, Maps and Atlases, Chuck Ragen, Empires, Mephiskapheles, Kitten, Peelander-Z, Touche Amore, Masked Intruder, Deal’s Gone Bad, Twin Peaks, Flatfoot 56, White Mystery, Environmental Encroachment, Radkey, and No D’Bags Allowed. 

Riot Fest takes place in Chicago from September 13th–15th in Humboldt Park. Hotel are not available yet, but three-day and VIP fest passes are on sale now through Ticketfly.
