Yet another original piece by Banksy was ripped off a wall and sent off to be sold at auction, and a lot of people are really unhappy about it.
"Banksy gave that piece of art to our community," North London council member Alan Strickland is quoted as saying by the BBC. He called the artwork a "piece of art that was given freely has been taken away from them."
Of course, the gallery owner in Miami who is selling the piece and stands to pocket a huge chunk of the $50,000 - $70,000 it's expected to sell for thinks everything is totally fine and there's no harm, no foul.
"It's been said that the artwork was stolen, and that is just not true," Frederic Thut said of Fine Art Auctions told the Guardian UK.
"We take a lot of care with our consignors, who they are, what they do, and if there's any illegality we will not touch it. Everything is checked out 150%."
