Dane DeHaan Cast In Next Amazing SpiderMan Movie

Actor Dane DeHaan (Chronicle) has officially been cast as Harry Osborn in the next Amazing Spider-Man movie, according to Columbia Pictures.

Starring alongside Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, and Shailene Woodley, DeHaan portrays the best friend of Peter Parker, and the man who will eventually become Spider-Man's nemesis, the Green Goblin.

Production is scheduled to begin in New York in early 2013, and a release date for the film has been set for May 2, 2014. All eyes are on this next installment of the Amazing Spider-Man, with the previous film grossing more than $571 million worldwide, and with the massive success of The Avengers and Christopher Nolan's Batman films bolstering the comic book film market.
