Celebrate Hello Kitty's 40th Anniversary from October 30th to November 2nd at the first ever official Hello Kitty Convention in the world! Hello Kitty Con 2014 is a global gathering of fans and friends to celebrate all things Hello Kitty. Taking place at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA (Museum of Contemporary Art) in Downtown LA's Little Tokyo, Hello Kitty Con 2014 will offer interactive experiences and events for fans and friends of all ages, including activities, art, exhibits, exclusives, workshops, lectures, panels, sneak peeks, tattoos, food, fun, and many more surprises! Join Hello Kitty and your friends at Hello Kitty Con 2014. As Hello Kitty always says, "You can never have too many friends!"

Ask, listen, and learn everything you ever wanted to know about Hello Kitty from a supergroup of speakers including a first-time Q&A with Hello Kitty head designer, Yuko Yamaguchi, artist and creator of the tokidoki brand, Simone Legno, and many more! Lectures and panels are free with your Hello Kitty Con ticket. 

Five leading tattoo artists have created custom flash artwork & will offer FREE (real!) tattoos at the Hello Kitty Tattoo Shop throughout the convention. All tattoos will be done on a first come, first served basis.

Enjoy interactive art installations and photo ops created by artists POSE and Dabs Myla. Make sure you pretty up your nails with Sanrio Tokyo's resident nail artist and Hello Kitty Nail Art book author, Masako Kojima. She will be on hand giving fans a chance to Hello Kitty-fy their nails, making them supercute!

Stroll down memory lane in the Hello Kitty Product Retrospective! Sanrio has opened the vaults to display a collection of classic Hello Kitty products from the early days, including the original Hello Kitty coin purse (on display for the first time in the U.S.)! 

Check out super fantastical Hello Kitty fashion on display at Lovely Kitty Wonder: A Hello Kitty Fashion Installation curated by Stephiee Nguyen of JapanLA Clothing. See one-of-a-kind creations by 13 designers from all over the globe including Ophelia Overdose, Abigail Greydanus, a-morir, Fiori Couture and Doll Eyes.
