Shepard Fairey Lifeguard Not on Duty print

Shepard Fairey and OBEY Giant will release Lifeguard Not on Duty, a new signed and numbered screen print, next Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at both 10AM and 3PM PST,

Shepard Fairey Lifeguard Not on Duty

Lifeguard Not on Duty is based on an original fine art piece from Power & Glory, Shepard Fairey's major exhibition alongside Jaspar Johns that just closed at The Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art. Fairey created the Power & Glory body of work as "a celebration and critique of Americana with an emphasis on the meanings of power. Fossil fuels and their accompanying oil and gas iconography are explored as symbols of what literally and metaphorically drives America in ways both good and bad.”
