First Trailer For Derek Hess Documentary "Forced Perspective"

The first trailer has been released for Forced Perspective, a new documentary, directed by Nick Cavalier, on the life and struggles of renowned artist Derek Hess. Hess, who began his career creating promo flyers for shows, has produced artwork for such bands as Taking Black Sunday, NOFX and Thursday. His work has appeared on MTV, VH1 and in AP, among other places.

The film “illuminates Derek's struggle with alcoholism, bipolar disorder, depression and watches him triumph over his personal demons while showing how these experiences help shape his artwork.” Check out the trailer below, and let us know what you think.

The film is now in post-production and is expected to be released in 2015. (via)
