Hear Jack White’s “Lazaretto,” The World’s Fastest Record

This past weekend was Record Store Day, when indie record stores all over the world get the nod from the record industry and get to load up on all kinds of fantastic exclusives, new releases, and other promo items to celebrate sticking it out as a brick-and-mortar retailer. This year, Jack White celebrated at his own record store, Third Man Records, by performing a live concert, recording two songs direct to acetate, and having them pressed, packaged, and released at his store within just a few short hours...landing him in the Guinness Book for World Records for the World's Fastest Record from recording to release. Check out the album version of the single, Lazaretto, below, as well as a video recap of White's feat of speed.
