Directed by Bryan Singer, Days of Future Past unites the casts of the original X-Men trilogy (Stewart, McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page and Shawn Ashmore) released between 2000-06 and the newcomers from 2011's X-Men: First Class (including James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult).
The new trailer offers a look at the much younger Professor X and Magneto (McAvoy and Fassbender) hashing out their differences amidst crumbling cities, as well as a look at series newcomer Peter Dinklage, who plays Bolivar Trask, the scientist who creates the mutant-hunting Sentinels that we've been eagerly waiting to see.
X-Men: Days of Future Past arrives in theaters on May 23rd, and will follow-up Marvel's two other spring offerings, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, opening April 4th, and The Amazing Spider-Man 2, which opens on May 2nd.
