Google Unveils Android Wearables
Rumors have been floating around for a while now about Google getting into the wearable technology market, and they've finally been confirmed. Today Google officially announced Android Wear, a version of the operating system specifically designed for wearables...like watches. Google has confirmed they're working with Asus, HTC, LG, Motorola, and Samsung; the watch images above are prototypes designed by LG.
Check out the developer video below for more information...no word yet on release date or what other devices will be available with the Android Wear operating system, but we expect to hear a lot more about this in the coming months.
Hey Apple....your move.
