The Corey Helford Gallery is opening a new group exhibition tomorrow, Saturday, March 15th, entitled "POP-EYECONIC - An Exploration of Popular Iconic Characters".
Participating artists include Aaron Martin, Ben Frost, Bumblebee, Carlos Ramos, Chris Anthony, Colin Christian, David Stoupakis, D*Face, Eric Joyner, Hikari Shimoda, Jennybird Alcantara, Joey Remmers, Dave Kinsey, Natalia Fabia, Korin Faught, Lola, Luke Chueh, Meggs, Mia Araujo, Michael Mararian, Mike Stilkey, Nate Frizzell, Paul Frank, Peter Gronquist, Pure Evil, Richard Oliver, Robert Xavier Buren, Ron English, Sarah Folkman, Sas Christian, SHAG, Shark Toof, Soey Milk, and Tom Bagshaw. The artists will be exhibiting works based on pop icons that have special meaning for them, and have been rendered in their signature style.
The opening reception for “POP-EYECONIC” takes place Saturday, March 15, from 7-10pm at Corey Helford Gallery. The reception is open to the public, and the exhibition will be on view through March 28, 2014.
