Doomtree has released a documentary, Team The Best Team, directed by Chris Hadland.
The documentary is a behind-the-scenes look at the Doomtree collective and their 2012 international tour.
"I think that first and foremost, Doomtree has been about a total unwillingness to compromise artistically," Doomtree's Dessa says in the trailer for the film. "Period. End of story."
Doomtree's most recent release, No Kings, came out in 2011. The project featured the selection "Team The Best Team."
The full-length documentary is renting, streaming and downloading on watch.doomtree.net. You can also buy a physical copy at store.doomtree.net.
Doomtree has also scheduled a Team The Best Team Movie Night Wednesday (December 11).
The group's Facebook account explains how the online movie night will work:
"At 9 pm Central on Wednesday, December 11th, the night before Doomtree Blowout 9 -- the annual multiple day all-crew live performance -- begins, we'll all press 'play' on Team The Best Team. If you're the type to talk through movies, use the hashtag #BlowoutEve during the viewing, as various members of Doomtree will be chiming in throughout."
An extended trailer for the film can be viewed below. The video also features "Team The Best Team."
